This 13,000 square foot mixed use building in the industrial area near Point Loma houses a fully renovated commissary kitchen, coffee roasting facility, office space, and a food truck storage lot. With the array of uses located in one building it was important that a visitor be securely directed from the entrance to their intended destination. The addition of a wood overhang contrasts against the CMU block walls to frame the floor to ceiling windows of the newly created central lobby. Lastly, the sun shade system in the rear lot provides a safe place to clean, load, and store a food truck.
